To make this mask, melt a piece of paraffin wax over steam. First, apply a rich cream to your hands, then dip them into the paraffin. Finally, put on synthetic gloves and wrap your hands in a terry cloth towel. As before, remove the mask after 15 minutes.
While the previous steps may require some free time, this one does not. You can save your nails by rubbing olive oil into them a couple of times on weekdays. You’ll need to get some cotton gloves to enhance the effect. It’s best to do this at night; by morning, the oil will have absorbed, and it won’t cause the slightest inconvenience.
This recipe is incredibly simple and hassle-free, and it will make your nails strong and sturdy. All you need to do is cut a lemon in half and press your fingers into the flesh for 5 minutes. Afterward, of course, you should rinse your hands under running water and moisturize them.
Here’s a recipe that will come in handy for homemakers with their own garden. To restore your nails, rub them with the juice of tart berries, such as cranberries, currants, etc. Of course, every homemaker has gelatin in her kitchen. It works perfectly for this purpose when dissolved in warm water and used as a hand soak for 20–30 minutes. Most importantly, don’t forget to wash your hands thoroughly afterward.
It’s worth noting that it’s best to wear gloves while doing household chores to protect your hands and nails from cleaning products. You also shouldn’t forget about a balanced diet. To improve the condition of not only your nails but also your teeth and bones in general, you need to eat foods that contain calcium.
