The Egg Diet

Until recently, there was a widespread belief that eggs were harmful. It was thought they could cause harm to the body.
However, scientists have proven that eggs are nothing but beneficial.
Eating plenty of eggs is easy and beneficial. They can satisfy hunger and promote weight loss.

Diet Characteristics
Eggs contain quite a lot of nutrients, yet they are low in calories. Vitamin B helps improve the condition of nails and hair. It gives the skin a healthy appearance. In addition, eggs contain several other vitamins and minerals that are essential for life.

Eggs actively promote weight loss because the process of digesting protein is very slow. Energy is derived from fats and carbohydrates obtained from food.

The principle of this method is based on reducing food intake. On this diet, you eat a couple of eggs and plenty of fresh vegetables per day. Meals should be separate; you can eat fruit for lunch.

On this diet, you cannot eat bread or sugar. Spice intake should be kept to a minimum. If you get tired of eggs, you can replace them with low-fat cottage cheese.

The diet is quite well-designed. If you strictly follow the egg diet for seven days, you can easily lose all the unwanted weight.
Diet Variations
To date, nutritionists have developed four meal plans for the egg diet. The 7-day egg diet is considered the most effective.

Meals are divided into three main meals. Over the course of a day, you should consume no more than two liters of water, three eggs, and one grapefruit.

Meals are taken only every 4 hours. You must eat 4 hours before bedtime. In just a few days, you’ll say goodbye to a few extra pounds.

In addition, the 15-day egg diet is also popular. It is based on the same principles as the 7-day diet. The diet includes 145 grams of boiled meat or fish and 4 eggs. You can also have a vegetable salad, a grapefruit, and an orange.
Heavier meals are eaten at lunch. On average, you can lose up to 5 kilograms on this diet.
The most well-known is the 4-week egg diet, or the “Maggie Diet.” This diet is designed to activate certain processes in the body. For this reason, you must not deviate from the meal plan under any circumstances. The diet is based on a combination of eggs and citrus fruits.

The menu is completely balanced and spread out over all 4 weeks:
- For the first 14 days, eat eggs with grapefruit and oranges.
- During the third week, you can add plenty of vegetables and fruits to your diet.
- During the fourth week, you need to reduce the number of eggs you consume.

For women who need to lose a few pounds, the 7-day express egg diet is a good option. The diet consists of eggs, rye bread, green tea, and unsweetened coffee. Be sure to drink plenty of water.
Before starting, you should create an egg diet plan, at least for 7 days.

Benefits of the Egg Diet
Most importantly, the diet is nutritious. Since eggs are a filling food on their own, you won’t feel hungry.

The diet is balanced and sufficiently complete. The lost weight does not return, and the results are sustained for a long time.

Disadvantages of the egg diet
Before starting the diet, you must consult with your doctor to avoid unforeseen complications.
