The Rice Diet

Rice is consumed in every country, and it is particularly popular in Asian countries—and for good reason, since this grain is not only nutritious but also very filling and easy to digest.
Nutritionists, aware of all the benefits of rice, have developed unique rice-based diets. The essence of the rice diet for weight loss lies in eating unpolished rice—in other words, brown rice. This rice is dark brown in color, sometimes with a reddish tint, and contains a significant amount of fiber and essential micronutrients.

Once the husk is removed, the rice partially loses its beneficial properties. A cheaper and more affordable option is parboiled rice.
Benefits of the Rice Diet
Rice contains over 75% carbohydrates, which are easily digestible; it is gluten-free, so no gluten is released during cooking. Rice is rich in B vitamins, which support the nervous system. Lecithin plays a huge role in human intellectual development. Rice is also very rich in micronutrients, potassium, iron, iodine, etc.

Since rice is a very nutritious and light food, a diet based on its consumption helps you lose excess weight.
- Rice is high in starch, which coats the stomach lining. It is often prescribed for inflammation of the mucous membrane, gastritis, and ulcers.
- Rice porridge helps increase milk production during breastfeeding.
- Rice porridge can be given to babies after six months of age; it is easily digested by their small bodies.
- The potassium in rice helps strengthen the heart muscle and supports heart function.
- Rice-based dishes aid in weight loss by helping to quickly flush salt from the body.

Cleansing the body with rice
To prevent weight gain and help the body function properly, you should perform special rice cleansing procedures in the morning. How is this done? Place rice in a jar; the number of spoonfuls should correspond to your age. Rinse the rice, cover it with hot water, and refrigerate it.

Every morning, take 1 spoonful of the rice and cook it into porridge; do not add salt. You should eat the rice as early as possible in the morning, no later than 8 a.m. This cleansing should continue until you have eaten all the rice from the jar.

The rice cleansing diet has absorbent properties. When the rice is washed, all the starch is removed, which is why this type of rice is needed.

When the body begins to cleanse itself on a subconscious level, all harmful substances and toxins will be eliminated, metabolic processes will normalize, metabolism will be regulated, fat will stop accumulating, and water-salt balance will improve.
Below you can see photos of the results of the rice diet.

A three-day rice diet to cleanse the body
First, rinse the rice, then cook it—but don’t overcook it; the grains should remain whole and slightly firm. There’s no need to cook rice in advance; preparing it for two meals is sufficient. You should eat rice throughout the day, in three small portions, and spread out your meals by the hour, that is: breakfast no later than 8 a.m., lunch between 1 and 2 p.m., and dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Some people may eat a larger portion of rice for dinner than at lunch or breakfast; this is acceptable within reasonable limits, since by evening the tired body requires more food. Eat slowly and chew the rice thoroughly; it will be slightly firm.

It is forbidden to eat rice or drink liquids after 8:00 p.m., as this is when the body begins its complete cleansing process. After eating, you should drink a small amount of water. If you have any health issues, the rice diet should only be followed after consulting with a doctor.

The rice diet for detoxification and weight loss is quite popular in Asian countries, where rice is grown in vast quantities and there is a huge variety of rice types. The rice-based diet is followed by everyone in these countries.

Lose Weight in Three Days with the Rice Diet
Fat is burned because rice removes excess fluid from the body. Don’t expect to lose weight quickly; it will take time. Nutritionists recommend doing specific exercises for weight loss, eating small portions but frequently, and drinking plenty of tea.

The results of the rice diet aren’t immediately noticeable, but it’s worth a try.
Every three days, you should eat a cup of boiled rice, without butter or salt. Some people feel hungry after eating this amount of rice; in that case, the rice diet isn’t for them.

If you feel unbearably hungry after eating the rice, you can have a few apples. Throughout the day, it is recommended to drink green tea without sugar, perhaps with a slice of lemon.

There is another three-day fat-burning option. On the first day, eat only rice; on the second day, you can have boiled chicken breast; on the third day, eat only apples.

In most cases, a rice porridge diet is beneficial for the body. If you want to lose weight quickly, however, a rice diet is not suitable for you.
