Eurasia
One of the largest continents on Earth is Eurasia. It is divided into two parts – Asia and Europe. It has a border starting from the Ural Mountains, passing through the Black and Azov Straits and seas, which unite the Black Sea with the Mediterranean.
This continent is washed immediately by all the oceans, and the coastlines are so intersected that they create a huge number of islands, peninsulas and bays.
The relief of Eurasia is vastly varied, because the continent itself is located on six tectonic platforms. Eurasia is rich in the highest mountains and plains of Everest and the Himalayas, there is a very deep Lake Baikal, and all the climatic zones that exist in geography are represented.

There are actually fifty-six countries in Eurasia, of which six are invalid states. Russia is considered the largest Eurasian country, whose territory covers more than seventeen million square meters, but the Vatican is usually considered to be the smallest power.

The continent inhabits 3/4 of the entire population of the planet, living in one hundred and eighty countries. The temperate climate, which occurs in most of the territory, produces hot and warm winters and summers. Eurasia is home to the longest river, the Volga, which runs through all of Russia, and many second Eurasian rivers. Eurasia is rich in beautiful lakes, and about 17% is occupied by mountains. Elbrus is considered the highest mountain in the Russian Federation.
The local flora and fauna are very rich and diverse due to the presence of all natural areas here. On the territory of Eurasia, the most famous representatives of the animal world are considered to be the brown bear, wolf, hare, deer, and even later. The list of animals, birds, insects and mammals living on the mainland is endless. Coniferous, deciduous and mixed forests enrich this continent with their vegetation, but there are semi-deserts and deserts, and taiga, endless tundra and forests.
The structure of the continent has some peculiarities in contrast to the second continents. It contains few platforms and plates and is considered to be the youngest continent in its creation than the others. The population of Eurasia is very huge and makes up approximately 70% of the total number of peoples on planet Earth. This is the most populated continent in the world. The west, south and east of the continent are very densely populated. The north is occupied by Slavic peoples – Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Czechs and others. The southern part is inhabited by Chinese and Indian people.
