The Three-Day Diet

If you need to lose a small amount of excess weight, a three-day diet is the best option.

The second day is more challenging, as you may consume three servings of rice (no more than 25 grams each) and 1.2 liters of tomato juice.
If you wish to continue, then on the third day you are allowed to consume 2 liters of tomato juice and a good half-cup of boiled rice. The rice should be eaten over the course of three meals.
Rice is a unique grain with distinctive beneficial properties.

It provides the body with an impressive array of essential nutrients, but for the purposes of this diet, wild rice is the best choice because it contains the fewest calories among similar varieties.

However, wild rice offers more protein than other types.

For a three-day tomato and rice weight-loss diet to be effective, you must prepare the rice porridge correctly. Do not add butter or salt.

The rice should cook for about 25–35 minutes. It is also best to make the tomato juice yourself:
- You need to wash the tomatoes thoroughly and blanch them in boiling water. It is best to use a colander for this.
- You will need to remove the stems and strain the vegetables through a large sieve;
- The resulting tomato juice is then strained through cheesecloth.

In addition, while following this diet, you should drink still mineral water; filtered water is also acceptable. Meals can be consumed until 6:00 PM.
Nutritionists recommend staying active throughout the diet, as this will help maintain skin and muscle tone.

Three-Day Kefir Diet
With this type of diet, you can lose four kilograms of excess weight.

The three-day kefir diet is simple because all you need to do is drink about 1.5 liters of this fermented milk drink with a fat content of no more than 2.5%.

It is important to remember that you should not add sugar to it, as it is high in calories. However, nutritionists have also created a more balanced meal plan for this diet:
On the first day:
- For breakfast, a glass of kefir with one green apple is recommended;
- For the first snack, no more than 200 ml of kefir;
- For lunch, 50 grams of low-fat cottage cheese (no more than 1% fat) and 250 ml of kefir;
- For an afternoon snack, have a glass of cucumber smoothie;
- Dinner consists of a small piece of mozzarella.
For the remaining two days, it is recommended to have a smoothie made with flaxseeds, kefir, and prunes.

In addition, it is permitted to consume a small amount of skim milk and some plain yogurt. Milk from a home-raised cow is not permitted.

This diet helps improve overall health and lose excess weight:
- digestive function is normalized;
- a large amount of toxins is eliminated;
- the immune system is strengthened;
- hair and nail health are improved;
- the body is replenished with vitamins and minerals necessary for proper functioning.
