The Six-Day Diet Principle

The principle of the six-petal diet

when someone decides to try to get their body “back on track” quickly by losing a few pounds that are hindering their normal life, nutritionists suggest giving up their usual diet for just six days
The six-day diet is based on the principle of alternating days by food type—three days of protein and, accordingly, three days of carbohydrates. Eat five times a day. It is mandatory to maintain equal intervals between meals. Fluid intake is mandatory. Any beverage is allowed: mineral water (sparkling or still), tea to your personal taste (both black and green, but without fruit or berry additives), and herbal infusions. Drink as much as your body desires. While following this diet, foods containing rapidly digestible carbohydrates are strictly prohibited. These include processed foods and smoked meats, refined sugar and caramel candies, and all types of canned foods, including homemade ones.
Each day features a specific, personalized set of foods that must not be consumed on any other days of the diet. To mentally prepare yourself for the eating plan outlined by the Six-Petal Diet, you need to make a flower—a daisy—with six colorful petals. Write your goal on the round, white center. For example, to lose five kilograms in six days. Attach the petals, cut out of colored paper, to the center with paper clips. On each petal, write the day number, the main food, and the name of the dishes with recipes that should be prepared on that specific day. In the evening of each day of the diet, tear off the corresponding petal from the flower.
The approximate appearance and inscriptions on the petals for the six-petal diet might look like this:
Petal N1 – red protein. Fish day. Any fish is suitable, both fatty and lean. Seafood is also allowed, both fresh and frozen.
Petal N2 – orange carbohydrate. Vegetable day. Any vegetables are suitable. Even potatoes.
Petal N3 – Yellow protein. Poultry day. It is recommended to choose chicken or turkey as the main type of poultry for preparing meals on this day of the diet.
Petal N4– Green Carbohydrate Day. Cereal and Grain Day. On this day, you can eat uncooked grains, seeds, and bran. You may drink mineral water. Grain breads are allowed.
Petal N5 – Blue protein day. Fermented milk day. All fermented milk products are suitable with no quantity restrictions. Even cottage cheese, but no more than half a kilogram.
Petal N6 – Crimson or lilac carbohydrate day. Fruit and berry day. Any fruits and berries. Bananas, mangoes, and grapes are also allowed. But the total amount per day should not exceed two kilograms.
