French explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau called this peninsula the “Coral Capital of the World.” The interweaving of several cultures has found its personal imprint in the cuisine and architecture of the island of Fiji.
But many people also do not know where this beautiful peninsula is located and which country owns it. And the official name of this country is the Republic of Fiji Islands. On the world map it can be found in the South Pacific Ocean in Melanesia next to New Zealand and Australia.

The state is washed from the south by the sea called Fiji. It has borders connecting it with the Tasman and Coral Seas.
