Stonehenge

An inimitable landmark of England, the whole earth and Europe – Stonehenge – is a huge stone statue located in the center of Salisbury Plain in the English county of Wiltshire, not far from London.

Stonehenge is a landmark with a long history
Scientists suggest that the founding date of this mysterious find is approximately three thousand BC. But according to complete analyzes of stones, the entire structure was created in three stages, the most recent stage was approximately one thousand five hundred BC. The name Stonehenge literally means “stone fence”. This site is under the protection of the UNESCO World Fund. Stonehenge consists of three types of huge stone blocks of five thousand kilograms, twenty-five thousand kilograms and more than fifty thousand kilograms. Researchers found that these stones were made three hundred kilometers away in the county of Wales and somehow transported to their place of existence.

Stonehenge – a mystery for thousands of years…
This mysterious building resembles a pair of arches: huge monoliths are superimposed on vertical pillars and fastened together by a system of grooves and notches. Such a unique design has withstood critical testing by time, natural phenomena and weather. There is no correct information about who was able to carry out the unimaginable work of building it so that the structure does not exist. Scientists offer various options: Atlanteans, aliens, druids and the wizard Merlin… There are many assumptions about the predestination of this extraordinary structure: an astronomical observatory, a place for ritual ceremonies, a clinic, a sanctuary of an old deity, a burial place for people, etc.

The stone elements of Stonehenge have placements oriented towards the moons and phases of the sun. Perhaps ritual actions were performed here at certain phases. Many remains of animal bodies and human burials were discovered near the building. It is possible to experience paranormal phenomena on the territory of Stonehenge. The compass needle, regardless of its placement, will always point south, and you may hear strange clicking buzzing and sounds. This is mainly explained by the strong magnetic field operating throughout the entire territory of the mysterious huge structure.

Every year on June twenty-one, a huge number of pagan pilgrims from all over the world come to the ruins of Stonehenge to celebrate the great Solstice Day. They dance in circles, sing songs and dance. Until now, due to the fact that there are no inscriptions or paintings on any of the stones, it is difficult for scientists to find out the real purpose of this huge building…
