The tower stands on soft clay soil, and groundwater flows very close underground, which washes away the foundation.
Until two thousand years, the tower increased its inclination every year, which could lead to its complete fall. But scientists managed to stop this phenomenon. The roll level is now approximately ten percent. Modern science has helped create a whole system of strengthening the Leaning Tower of Pisa to prevent it from falling.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a true cylinder, hollow in. It has twelve floors, the construction of which lasted for many years. The height of the tower is about fifty-five meters. Climbing to the very top is partly a risky undertaking, because no one can guarantee that the tower will not fall.
The architectural structure is located on the Square of Miracles, where, in addition to the leaning Leaning Tower of Pisa, there is a baptismal chapel and a cemetery, which make up an entire architectural ensemble. This is fully symbolic – the main stages of a person’s life are identified: birth, existence, death. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is built of marble. All floors are decorated with columns, which give the building sophistication. The first floor is decorated with a sculpture of Mary and Child. The inside of the tower is decorated with bas-reliefs. Every year, the tilted Leaning Tower of Pisa attracts many tourists. A visit to this museum is inexpensive. The visit schedule varies depending on the time of year.
